THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a sharp, energetic Account Representative to manage and grow shipper relationships within Freightlined’s fast-moving brokerage network. You’ll be the daily point of contact for our customers—quoting freight, booking loads, tracking shipments, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
This role blends service, sales, and strategy. You’ll protect margins, maintain service excellence, and build trust that keeps freight coming back.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
Quote, book, and manage shipments through Freightlined’s TMS.
Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and dispatch to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
Monitor loads proactively, providing real-time updates to customers.
Resolve service issues quickly and professionally.
Analyze lanes, pricing, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth.
Support senior brokers and managers in expanding strategic accounts.
Requirements:
Experience: 1–3 years in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation (customer service or inside sales background also considered).
Knowledge: Understanding of transportation modes, market trends, and freight terminology.
Communication: Clear, confident, and responsive — both written and verbal.
Organization: Ability to juggle multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities.
Technology: Proficient with TMS platforms, load boards, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Attitude: Competitive, coachable, and relentless about follow-through.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required—experience and grit matter more.
